# Sun Studio Dubai > Sun Studio LLC is a direct-to-surface printing studio in Al Quoz First, Dubai, UAE, operating since 2011. Sun Studio prints artwork directly onto glass, bottles, cans, acrylic, wood, metal, ceramic, stone, leather, textiles, food and finished walls using UV and other direct digital printing technologies: onto the object itself rather than onto a label, a wrap or a transfer film. - Sun Studio prints; it does not manufacture the objects it prints on. Bottles, glassware, cans, candles, award bodies and panels are normally supplied by the client or their supplier. - One exception to the line above: resin 3D printing. Sun Studio makes resin display replicas, such as giant perfume bottles, on its own resin 3D printer in the UAE, and quotes that work per project: https://www.sunstudio.ae/services/resin-3d-printing-dubai/index.md - There is no minimum order quantity for UV printing done in the studio: one suitable item or panel, a sample, or a full production run. There are no screens or plates to pay for, and the price per piece falls as the quantity rises. Wall printing is quoted by wall area. Policy: https://www.sunstudio.ae/services/index.md - Raised (embossed) texture, tactile lettering and braille are built up in cured UV ink, up to about 6 mm of relief. - In Sun Studio's own wash tests, prints on glass bottles, drinking glasses, steel tumblers and bottles, and porcelain gahwa cups lasted more than 60 dishwasher cycles, in home and commercial machines. It is a wash result, not a dishwasher-safe rating and not an alcohol or perfume test. Most glass still comes from the client or their glazier, already cut and processed. - No print-ready file is needed to start: a sketch, a photo, a ChatGPT image or a Pinterest reference is enough. Standard file preparation is included in a print order; substantial original design or reconstruction is scoped and priced before work starts. Send each panel's width, height and thickness and the studio confirms the fit before anything moves. - IQDEMY EVO 2500 (made in Switzerland): a continuous belt flatbed 2.5 metres wide with no machine limit on length. It prints large glass panels, and the ACP, wood and MDF, acoustic and fabric panel pages name it as their press. - Direct Color Systems UV84: a flatbed with a 4 x 8 ft bed (about 1.2 x 2.4 m). Fabric pieces and panels are printed flat. - No fired ceramic frit: façades, spandrels and structural glazing belong to the glass processor.
