# Aluminium Can Printing for a Beautyworld Exhibition Stand

PRO TECHnology needed a giveaway for its stand at Beautyworld, at the Dubai World Trade Centre: something a visitor would take home rather than drop in a bin on the way out.

The answer was an all-over-spray aluminium can, printed full wrap, and filled with body spray by a perfume manufacturer the group works closely with. PRO TECHnology is our own parent group, so this one is a home job.

## The brief

Exhibition giveaways run on exhibition timelines. A thousand cans, several different artworks, and a stand date that does not move. ## Our approach

The cans were printed direct, full wrap, with the artwork going straight onto the aluminium rather than onto a label or a [sleeve](https://www.sunstudio.ae/insights/aluminium-can-and-body-spray-printing-dubai/).

Several artworks ran through the same production without a separate setup for each, which is what made a range of designs affordable at this quantity.

## Production detail

Print houses in the UAE quote this kind of work through traditional decorating methods, which means screen or plate setup for every design, a minimum order quantity that makes a range of artworks expensive, and a lead time counted in weeks rather than days.

## The result

1,000 cans delivered in two days, with no minimum order and no plates, screens or sleeves to make, the two things that normally decide whether a run like this is worth doing at all.
