# Resin 3D Printing & Giant Perfume Bottle Displays in Dubai

Sun Studio creates custom **resin 3D printed perfume bottle replicas** and display pieces in Dubai. We print them in-house in the UAE on our own resin 3D printer and finish every piece by hand in our Dubai studio, turning a bottle design into an oversized centrepiece for shop windows, fragrance launches, exhibitions and brand activations, indoors or outdoors.

## What we create

Resin 3D printing builds a display piece straight from a digital model, so the shape comes from your bottle design rather than from a mould. It is how we make oversized perfume bottle replicas and other 3D printed perfume bottles for display:

- **Giant perfume bottle replicas**: an existing bottle, scaled up for windows, counters and launches.
- **Branded perfume display pieces**: a bottle, cap or brand mark made as a centrepiece.
- **Product models for retail windows and counters**: oversized product displays that read from across a store or a mall walkway.
- **Fragrance launch and exhibition props**: custom perfume display props for a launch table, a stand or a photo area.
- **Custom caps, shapes and decorative details**: faceted caps, textured surfaces and sculpted forms, where the design allows.

## Giant perfume bottle displays

An existing bottle design can become a display model many times its real size. We work from the bottle itself, photographs, the brand artwork or a 3D file, and scale the design to the finished height you need.

Scaling a bottle up is more than making it bigger. Proportions, edges and details that look right at 10 cm can look heavy or thin at 45 cm, so these points are agreed before anything is printed:

- **Shape and proportions**: The silhouette, shoulders and base, kept true to the original bottle.
- **Cap detail**: Facets, textures and the line between cap and bottle, often the part people notice first.
- **Branding**: The name, logo and label area, placed and sized to match the real bottle.
- **Viewing distance**: How far away the display will be seen, which decides how much fine detail is worth reproducing.
- **A display replica, not a bottle**: The piece does not hold, spray or dispense perfume.

## Resin 3D printing and finishing

Resin 3D printing builds an object layer by layer from liquid resin that hardens under light, following a 3D model. No mould is needed, which suits one design or a short set of different designs.

Every piece goes through the same stages: the model is prepared and checked, printed, cleaned and cured, joined where it was printed in sections, and then finished by hand in our Dubai studio, from smoothing the surface to coating and badging. The colours and finish are agreed for each project once we have seen the design.

Two other processes are often confused with it:

### Resin 3D printing

The object itself is built in resin, straight from a 3D model, with no mould. This is the process on this page.

### Resin casting

Liquid resin is poured into a mould taken from an original. It suits many identical copies once a mould exists, and it is a different method from 3D printing.

### Raised UV printing

## Where the displays can be used

Giant perfume bottle displays and large perfume bottle models suit places where a product has to be noticed from a distance. As visual merchandising props in Dubai they can work in:

- **Perfume window displays**: a bottle many times life size reads from across a mall walkway.
- **Retail counters and showrooms**: a centrepiece beside the testers and the real product.
- **Fragrance launch displays**: a launch table or stage piece that carries the new bottle design.
- **Exhibition stands**: a large, recognisable shape people can see from the aisle.
- **Brand activations and photography**: a prop for events, content shoots and photo areas.

## How to request a quote

Send what you have. The more we can see, the sooner we can assess the piece:

- **Bottle photographs, reference images or a 3D file**, if you have one.
- **Finished size**: height, width and depth.
- **Quantity**: one design or several.
- **Colours and finish**: matching the real bottle, or a different look.
- **Location**: where the display will stand, and whether it is indoors or outdoors.
- **Deadline and delivery location.**

## How it works

**Step 1**

Brief

You send reference images or a 3D file, the finished size, quantity, finish and deadline.

**Step 2**

Model

We prepare or check the 3D model, set the scale and decide whether the piece prints whole or in sections.

**Step 3**

Print

The piece is printed in resin on our 3D printer in the UAE, then cleaned and cured.

**Step 4**

Finish

Sections are joined where needed, then the piece is smoothed, coated and badged by hand in our Dubai studio, to the agreed colours and branding.

## Technical considerations

Large resin displays are shaped by a few practical limits, all checked when we review the design:

### Size and sections

A piece taller than the printer can build in one go is printed in sections and joined. How a design is split depends on its shape.

### Surface and layer lines

3D printing builds in thin layers. Every piece is smoothed and coated by hand in our Dubai studio, and that finishing decides how smooth the final surface looks.

### Weight and stability

A tall display needs a stable base, especially where people pass close to it.

### Fine detail

Small text and thin edges have to be large enough to print and finish cleanly at the chosen scale.

### Indoor or outdoor

The displays can be made for outdoor use as well as indoors. Tell us where the piece will stand when you send the brief.

### Transport and installation

Large pieces are packed for delivery, and very large displays may travel in parts.

## Common questions

### Can you make a giant replica of our perfume bottle?

Yes, in most cases. We scale your bottle design to the height you need and print it in resin, as we did for five bottles for Ajmal Perfumes. Each design is confirmed after we review it, because very thin parts, deep recesses or small lettering may need adjusting to print and finish well at a larger size.

### Do we need to supply a 3D file?

It helps, but it is not required to start. Send photographs of the bottle from several sides with its real dimensions, or the brand artwork. If a 3D file exists, send it with the brief, because it shortens the modelling stage.

### How large can a resin display be?

We can produce resin displays up to 2 metres. The giant bottle replicas we made for Ajmal Perfumes were 30 to 45 cm tall. A piece taller than the printer can build in one go is printed in sections and joined, and how a specific design is built is confirmed when we review it.

### Can you reproduce the cap and branding?

The cap is modelled as part of the replica, including facets and textures where the design allows, and the name, logo and label area are placed to match the real bottle. How close a colour or metallic look can get is agreed on the brief.

### How are the replicas finished?

By hand, in our Dubai studio. After printing, a piece made in sections is joined, then smoothed, coated and badged.

### Is the replica a working perfume bottle?

### Can resin displays be used outdoors?

Yes. Resin displays can be made for outdoor use as well as indoors. Tell us where the display will stand when you send the brief.

### What affects the price?

Each order is priced on its own, by the size, the weight and the level of detail of the pieces. We quote after reviewing the design, because two bottles of the same height can need very different modelling and finishing work.

### How long does production take?

The lead time is 3 to 7 working days, depending on the size, the quantity and the detail. Give us your deadline with the brief and we will confirm the timeline for your order once we have reviewed the design.

### Where are the displays made?

In the UAE. Sun Studio prints the replicas in-house on its own resin 3D printer and finishes every piece by hand in its Dubai studio, so questions and changes are handled directly with the team producing the piece.

### What is resin 3D printing?

It is a way of making a physical object straight from a 3D model, with no mould or tooling. For displays that means a replica can be sized to the space it will stand in, and a set of different bottle designs can be made together.
