Privacy policy

This explains what happens to the details you send us. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

Only what you put into an enquiry. Depending on the form that is your name, email address, phone number, the surface or product you want printed, and whatever you write in the brief. If you send artwork or photographs of an object, we receive those too.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, that conversation sits with WhatsApp under their terms as well as ours.

What we do with it

We use it to answer you, to quote the work, and to produce the job if you go ahead. That is the whole purpose. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with anyone for marketing.

We do not add you to a mailing list because you asked for a quote.

Card payments

We do not take card payments on this website. When a job is paid for by card we send you a payment link that opens a page hosted by Network International, our bank’s payment provider, and you enter your card details there. Sun Studio never sees, handles or stores your card number, its expiry date or its security code.

Card details and personally identifiable information are not stored, sold, shared, rented or leased to any third party by us. What reaches us is the result of the payment (the amount, the date, a reference and the last four digits), which we keep with the invoice for as long as UAE accounting and tax rules require. Network International processes the payment under its own privacy terms and the card schemes’ security standards.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without identifying you, and does not follow you to other sites. The contact page embeds a Google Map, which loads from google.com under Google’s own privacy terms and may set Google cookies in your browser. Beyond that there is no advertising pixel and no other tracking script.

If that changes, this section changes with it.

Who else sees it

The website is hosted by Vercel, which processes the request in order to serve the page and records the page-view counts described above. The enquiry and newsletter forms are relayed by FormSubmit, a form-to-email service, to the studio’s mailbox; if the relay fails, your device opens an email draft addressed to us instead. Messages sent on WhatsApp sit with WhatsApp under their terms as well as ours. These providers act on our instructions rather than for their own purposes.

If you join the newsletter, your email address is kept for that list only, and one reply takes you off it.

Where a job needs a supplier (a courier, for instance), we pass on only what that supplier needs to complete it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry emails are kept while there is a live conversation and for as long as we may need the record of a job we produced. Artwork is kept so a reorder can be matched to the original. If you would rather we did not, tell us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email info@sunstudio.ae or call +971 4 346 7422 and we will deal with it.
