Who we are
This website is operated by Sun Studio LLC, a company licensed in Dubai by the Department of Economy and Tourism. Our commercial licence number is 650517, our entry on the Dubai commercial register is 1673928, and our tax registration number is 100373473600003. The United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile.
Our workshop is at Warehouse 7, Al Quoz First, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, P.O. Box 30562. You can reach us on +971 4 346 7422, on WhatsApp on the same number, or by email at info@sunstudio.ae. We are open Monday to Saturday, 08:30 to 18:30 Gulf Standard Time.
In these terms “we”, “us” and “Sun Studio” mean Sun Studio LLC, and “you” means the person or company placing the order. Asking us to quote, confirming an order, or paying an invoice or a payment link means you accept these terms.
Using this website
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order or make a payment with us. Minors under 18 years old may not register on, or transact through, this website.
Please give us accurate contact, billing and delivery details: we work from what you give us, and a wrong address or number is the usual reason a job is late. Keep any account or payment-link reference we send you to yourself.
You may not use this site or our service for anything unlawful, or to have us print anything you do not hold the rights to. We do not accept orders from, or send goods to, individuals or organisations subject to United Nations, UAE or OFAC sanctions, or to countries under embargo.
The text on this site and the photographs of our work belong to Sun Studio unless we say otherwise. Artwork you send us stays yours; we use it to quote and to produce your job, and we ask separately before showing a job in our portfolio.
Quotes and samples
A quote is based on what you tell us and on the item or material you send. If the object, the finish, the quantity or the artwork changes, the quote changes. Quotes are valid for thirty days unless we say otherwise.
On an unfamiliar surface we will normally want to print a sample on the actual item first. That sample is the reference for the run.
A sample is charged at AED 105 or AED 150 depending on what it is. That fee comes off the invoice if you go ahead with the order. On a repeat order there is no sample fee at all: where a fresh sample is needed we charge only what it actually costs.
Artwork and approval
You are responsible for the artwork you supply, including that you have the right to print it. Please send vector files where they exist, or artwork at final size. We will tell you if what you have sent will not reproduce well.
Nothing goes into production until you approve the proof or the printed sample. Once approved, that is what we print. Approval is the point the order becomes firm, and it matters for cancellation and refunds.
Colour
Colour is profiled per material and we get close on most palettes. Metallics, fluorescents and some saturated spot colours sit outside what CMYK plus white can reproduce, and a colour reads differently on brushed metal than it does on white acrylic. Where an exact brand colour matters, ask for a printed sample on the real material before the run.
Items and materials you supply
Sun Studio prints; we do not manufacture the objects we print on. Bottles, cans, glassware, candles, award bodies, panels and glass normally come from you or your supplier.
Where you would rather not source the material yourself, we often can. We buy acrylic, glass and acoustic panel from manufacturers we work with regularly, usually at a better price than a one-off order would get, and it goes on the quote as its own line.
Please send a few spares. Printing is a physical process on a finished object and an occasional piece is lost to setup or handling. We take care of what you send us, but we cannot accept liability for the value of client property beyond the cost of the printing on it.
Lead times
Lead times are given in working days from artwork approval, not from the first enquiry. They assume the items are with us. Site work such as wall printing depends on the surface being ready and on access being available.
A sample is normally ready in one to three working days. The lead time for the job itself depends on what it is, and we give you one with the quote.
Prices, VAT and currency
All prices are quoted and charged in United Arab Emirates dirhams (AED). Sun Studio LLC is registered for VAT, so 5% VAT is added where it applies; it is shown separately on the quote and on the invoice, and our TRN 100373473600003 appears on every invoice we issue.
A quote covers the work described in it. Delivery, installation, site visits and rush scheduling are quoted separately unless the quote says they are included.
The amount shown on the payment page is the amount we charge, in the currency shown. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank converts it at its own rate and may add its own fee; that conversion is between you and your bank.
Payment
Payment terms are set out on the quote or invoice for the job. We normally ask for payment, or an agreed part payment, before production is scheduled; production starts once the order is confirmed in line with those terms.
We accept Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards through a secure payment link issued by our bank, Network International, as well as bank transfer in AED and cash at the studio. Card details are entered on Network International’s own hosted payment page: we never see, handle or store your card number.
We keep records of orders, invoices and payments for as long as UAE accounting and tax rules require.
Payment confirmation
When a card payment succeeds you see a confirmation on screen and our payment provider emails a receipt to the address you entered, normally within a few minutes. We follow it with an order confirmation by email, usually the same working day and always within one working day. A tax invoice follows.

Delivery and collection
We are a Dubai workshop. Most jobs are collected from Al Quoz First or sent out by us or by courier.
- Collection from the studio is free, by arrangement, once the job is finished and paid for.
- Delivery within the UAE is quoted per job, on where it is going and how the pieces have to be packed. Where a delivery charge applies it appears on the quote and the invoice before you pay. Dubai deliveries are typically made within one to two working days of the job being finished, and the other emirates within two to four.
- Outside the UAE we send by courier at cost, quoted before despatch. Any customs duty or import tax at the destination is yours to pay.
- Installation (wall printing and fitted panels, for example) is scheduled with you and depends on the site being ready and accessible.
We will tell you when a job is ready and, where it is being sent, give you the courier reference.
Cancellation, changes and refunds
Almost everything we make is printed with your artwork on your item, so it cannot be put back into stock or sold to anyone else. When an order can be cancelled, what happens to a payment already made, and how a refund reaches you are set out in full in our refund and returns policy, which forms part of these terms.
In short: you can cancel for a full refund at any time before you approve the proof or the printed sample, less any sample or setup work already done at your request. After approval the job is in production and is no longer refundable for a change of mind. If the fault is ours, we reprint it or refund it.
If something is wrong
Tell us promptly and send photographs. If the fault is ours (the wrong artwork, a print that does not match the approved sample, a defect in our workmanship), we will reprint it or refund it.
That does not extend to a change of mind after approval, to artwork supplied at the wrong size or resolution, or to the behaviour of a material you asked us to print on against our advice.
Our liability
Our responsibility for a job is limited to what you paid us for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss beyond that: lost profit, or the cost of an event that went ahead without the printed pieces. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. The United Arab Emirates is our country of domicile.
