Printed Glass Walls and Tabletops for Segafredo Zanetti

Segafredo Zanetti, the Italian espresso company, worked with Sun Studio to refresh architectural and dining elements across café locations.

Printed glass carries the textures and heritage of Italy onto walls and tabletops, in finishes made for daily service.

The requirement

Thematic consistency across very different surfaces, from large wall panels to tables wiped down all day. The medium had to hold high-resolution imagery while resisting scratches, coffee spills, heat from cups and constant sanitising.

What we did

The same artwork family was printed onto both the wall panels and the tabletops, so the two read as one interior rather than as separate decorating jobs.

Glass was chosen for the tables because it is the surface that takes repeated cleaning best.

The outcome

Café interiors where the walls and the tables carry the same visual language, on surfaces built for the heaviest daily use.
