Giant Perfume Bottle Replicas for Ajmal Perfumes, Resin 3D Printed in the UAE
Ajmal Perfumes ordered five giant replicas of perfume bottles for display and retail use, two of them Maryaj bottles.
Sun Studio produced five giant perfume bottle replicas using resin 3D printing, each between 30 and 45 cm tall, printed in-house in the UAE on our own resin 3D printer and finished by hand in our Dubai studio.

The brief
A perfume bottle is designed to be seen at arm’s length. Scaled up to 30 or 45 cm, every proportion, facet and edge is seen at a new size, and the replica still has to be recognised at a glance as the same bottle.
The set was not one design repeated. It covered five different bottles, Ajmal and Maryaj designs from the same order: a gold cylinder, a black bottle with a faceted cap, a red flask with a cut-away edge, a matte black faceted bottle and a clear pyramid. Each needed its own model.
Our approach
Resin 3D printing builds each piece layer by layer from a digital model, with no mould. That suits a set of different designs, where making a mould for each bottle would make no sense.
All five replicas were printed in-house in the UAE, on Sun Studio’s own resin 3D printer, and finished by hand in our Dubai studio, from smoothing the printed surface to coating and badging. Every piece was printed, finished and checked in one place.
Production detail
Scale changes what detail is worth reproducing. A facet, a textured cap or a line of lettering that is barely noticed on the real bottle becomes a feature at display size, so the model has to hold those details cleanly rather than simply enlarging a low-detail shape.
A replica is a display piece, not a container. It needs no working neck, pump or seal, so the effort goes into the parts people look at: the silhouette, the cap and the label area.
The finish is where a replica starts to read as the real bottle. After printing, each piece was smoothed by hand to even out the printed layers, then coated and badged, all in Sun Studio’s Dubai studio.
The result
Five giant perfume bottle replicas, 30 to 45 cm tall, produced in resin and finished by hand in the UAE for Ajmal Perfumes’ retail and display use. The same process scales further: Sun Studio can produce resin displays up to 2 metres, for indoor or outdoor use, with a lead time of 3 to 7 working days.
