One Hundred Printed Qahwa Cups as Wedding Favours
A bride and groom — she Middle Eastern, he European — wanted a favour for their guests that belonged to both of them. They are coffee people.
So the answer was qahwa cups: one hundred of them, printed with an illustration of the two of them together. The couple asked to stay unnamed.

The brief
The favour had to feel personal rather than branded, and carry two cultures without looking like a compromise between them.
Our approach
The illustration was printed onto the cup itself and wrapped around the curve, so it reads as part of the piece rather than a decal applied to it.
The cups were boxed ready to hand over at the reception.
Production detail
One hundred pieces is a quantity that traditional decorating methods price out of reach, because plate and screen setup has to be paid for before the first cup is decorated.
