Corporate Gift Printing in Dubai
Sun Studio prints corporate gifts directly at our Al Quoz studio — qahwa cups, bottles and drinkware, notebooks and leather goods, candles, glassware and desk pieces. The branding goes onto the item itself rather than onto a sticker or an engraved plate, in full colour.
Most of this work is deadline-driven: Ramadan and Eid gifting, National Day, conferences and exhibitions, client gifts and staff recognition, and event favours where every piece carries a different name.

What we can print
Gifting is the one service that is defined by the occasion rather than the material, so a single order often spans several substrates:
- Qahwa cups and saucers — the Gulf gifting staple, printed in full colour.
- Bottles, tumblers and drinkware — glass, stainless and aluminium.
- Notebooks and leather goods — covers, folders and diaries.
- Candles and home fragrance — branded or personalised vessels.
- Glassware and desk pieces — awards, paperweights and display items.
- Boxes and packaging — so the gift and its box match.
- Mixed sets — several different items branded consistently as one gift.
Printing capabilities
The two things gifting needs most are full colour and the freedom to make every piece different:
- Direct UV printing — onto the item itself, in full colour.
- Personalisation — a different name on every piece at no extra setup, because there is no screen or plate.
- 360° printing — a seamless wrap on cups, bottles and tumblers.
- White ink — so brand colours hold on clear, dark or metallic items.
- Arabic calligraphy and fine detail — printed at the resolution it deserves.
- Raised and textured effects — a logo that can be felt, which reads as considered on a gift.
- Short runs and mixed sets — fifty of one thing, or five of ten things.

Direct printing or engraving and stickers
Corporate gifts are usually branded one of three ways, and the choice shows in the hand.
Engraving and etching
Laser engraving removes material to leave a mark. It is durable and it suits a single-colour logo on metal or wood.
The limit is colour: an engraved mark is the colour of the material underneath, so a brand with a specific colour, a gradient or more than one ink is out of reach.
Direct UV printing
Ink is laid onto the item in full colour and cured. Brand colours are reproduced as colours, gradients and photographs are possible, and Arabic calligraphy prints exactly as drawn.
Because there is no screen or plate, changing the artwork between pieces costs nothing — which is what makes name-by-name personalisation practical on a run of two hundred. Applied stickers do colour too, but they are the thing a recipient peels off.
Who this is for
Gifting work comes from:
- Corporate marketing and HR teams — client gifts, staff recognition and onboarding sets.
- Gifting and promotional companies — who source the items and use us for the branding.
- Event and conference organisers — delegate gifts and speaker pieces.
- Banks, developers and government entities — Ramadan, Eid and National Day gifting.
- Hotels and hospitality — guest and VIP gifts.
- Wedding planners — favours personalised for every guest.
What to send before we can quote
Gifting is scheduling as much as printing, so lead with the date:
- The deadline — the date the gifts have to be in hand, not the date they leave us.
- The items — what they are, and whether you are supplying them or want them sourced.
- Quantity, and whether pieces are identical or personalised.
- Photos or samples of the items.
- Artwork — logo as vector, plus any Arabic wording.
- The name list if pieces are personalised, in the exact spelling required.
- Whether boxes or packaging are part of the job.
- Where they are being delivered.
How it works
The deadline, the items, the quantity and the artwork.
We confirm what each item needs, whether anything requires testing, and whether the date is realistic.
One piece of each item is printed and approved before the run.
The order is printed, checked, packed and ready for the date.

Technical considerations
A gifting order is rarely one material. A single set might contain a glass cup, a stainless bottle, a leather notebook and a coated box — four different adhesion problems arriving as one job with one deadline.
What that means in practice:
- Every material is its own job — glass, metal, leather and coated board each behave differently, and a set is only as good as its weakest item.
- Sample every item type — not just one piece from the order. This is where mixed sets go wrong.
- Low-energy plastics — promotional items are full of polypropylene, which needs pre-treatment. Cheap sourced items are the usual culprits.
- Coatings — powder-coated bottles and lacquered items are prints onto that coating, and the coating quality varies enormously between suppliers.
- Use in the hand — a gift is handled, carried and washed. Drinkware in particular is worth testing against how it will actually be cleaned.
- Personalisation accuracy — a misspelled name on a gift is worse than no name. Name lists are printed exactly as supplied, so send them in final form.
- Lead time — seasonal gifting collides with everyone else's seasonal gifting. Ramadan and National Day work should start earlier than feels necessary.
