Custom Padel Racket and Bag Printing in Dubai: Your Logo on the Gear You Already Own

Names, logos and full artwork printed direct onto padel rackets and padel bags at our studio in Al Quoz, Dubai. A client's NOX bag, our own racket, and what they show about printing on almost anything.

Yes, a padel racket or a padel bag can be printed in Dubai. Sun Studio Dubai prints names, logos and full-colour artwork direct onto padel rackets and padel bags with UV ink at our studio in Al Quoz. The ink is cured by UV light on the surface as it prints: no sticker, no film, no transfer. One racket, one bag, a pair for doubles partners or a whole team set.

At a glance:

  • Method: direct UV printing on the finished racket or bag you already own.
  • Rackets: the face of the head, printed around the holes, clear of the frame edge, the throat and the grip.
  • Bags: padel bags with a firm front panel, including shaped panels faced in woven fabric like the NOX bag on this page.
  • Colour: full colour on light or dark gear, with white ink under the colour on dark surfaces.
  • Quantity: one piece upwards, with no minimum order.
  • Sample: AED 105 or AED 150 depending on what it is, taken off the invoice if you go ahead.
  • Where: printed in Al Quoz First, Dubai, for players, clubs and companies across the UAE.

Some people search for this as 'paddle racket printing'; the sport is spelled padel, and the answer is the same. The bigger point is in our own racket's artwork: if an object can sit still under the print head and its surface takes ink, we can usually print on it.

Case study: a client's logo on a NOX padel bag

The brief. A padel player in Dubai brought us their NOX padel bag from the Luxury Master Series and asked for their personal emblem on it: a silver dragon, their name in silver lettering and a red swoosh. It is a premium 60-litre bag with a rigid, shaped front compartment faced in woven fabric, and a ThermoTech compartment that keeps rackets away from heat (NOX). There was one of it, so there was no spare to practise on.

What made it a real test:

  • A shaped, woven panel. The front of the bag is curved and faced in a fine woven fabric, not a flat, smooth sheet. The emblem went on the flattest part of the panel, where it could lie still under the print head.
  • A crowded face. The bag already carries NOX's own Aqua Shield and Thermo Tech marks and a large embossed logo. The emblem had to fit between them without crowding them.
  • Light on dark. Silver and white tones on a dark grey bag only stay bright with white ink under them; without it, light colours sink into the fabric.
  • No second chance. On a one-off item the size and position are agreed on a proof before anything is printed.

The result. The emblem is printed into the face of the panel, not stuck to it. Close up, you can see the weave of the fabric through the ink, which is why it reads as part of the bag rather than a patch or a sticker, and why there is no edge to lift.

NOX made the bag; the emblem is the client's own. Sun Studio is not connected with NOX, and the same approach works on other makers' bags with a similar panel.

Our own racket: 'nothing is unprintable'

The racket on the shelf in our studio is our own piece. Its face is printed edge to edge in full colour, around every hole, with two lines of Arabic in the artwork: الطباعة على أي مادة، على أي سطح (printing on any material, on any surface) and لا شيء غير قابل للطباعة (nothing is unprintable).

A padel racket makes the point well because it is an awkward object to print: the face is slightly curved, often textured, and full of holes, and the frame around it is thick. If the artwork holds together on that, it holds together on most things. It is a display piece, so what it shows is the print, not how a print wears on court; that is covered further down.

Can you print on a padel racket?

Yes, on the face. Most padel rackets have a face of carbon fibre or fibreglass over an EVA foam core and weigh roughly 340 to 390 g (Playtomic). Makers print their graphics during production; we print the finished racket, so the design is laid out around holes that are already there. Each part of the racket gets a different answer:

Part of the racketCan it be printed? What to know
Face (the hitting surface)Yes, this is where the design goesPrinted around the holes, which stay open. Smooth and gritty faces both take ink; the texture shows through.
Frame edgeUsually left as it isThe edge takes the knocks against the floor and the walls, and most players cover it with a protector.
Throat and heartCase by caseNarrow and curved; a small mark may fit. Send a photo and we tell you before quoting.
HandleNoIt is wrapped in grip tape that you replace.
  • Design around the holes. Large shapes, bold lettering and strong colour survive the hole pattern. Small text and fine detail need to sit in the gaps between holes, so we check the layout against the real hole pattern on the proof.
  • Keep it flat. A print is a thin layer of ink, and racket balance is tuned in grams: NOX ships 2 g and 4 g counterweights with some of its rackets. So we keep the print flat on a racket, with no raised ink.
  • Textured faces. Many rackets have a gritty face for spin. The print follows the grit, as the bag print follows the weave. A clear varnish over the design would add rub resistance but smooth the grit, so on a textured face we discuss it with you first.

The print runs to the edge of every hole and the holes stay open. Bold shapes survive the hole pattern; small text has to sit between the holes.

Which padel bags can be printed?

Most padel bags with a firm front panel can be printed. The panel decides it: it has to lie still under the print head, and its surface has to take ink. The brand on the bag matters far less than the panel.

Bag or panelHow it printsWhat to know
Shaped front panel faced in woven fabricPrints wellThe panel holds its shape on the bed. The weave shows through the ink, as on the NOX bag.
PU or faux-leather panelPrints well once cleanedSmooth, so it takes fine detail. See leather printing.
Soft nylon or canvas bagCase by caseIt has to lie flat and still while it prints. A flat pocket or panel works; a slack, wrinkled side does not.
Coated, water-repellent fabricDepends on the coatingSome coatings resist ink. We test adhesion on the bag before the design goes on.
Seams, zips, pockets and embossed logosPrinted aroundThey break up a design, so the layout sits between them.

The same reasoning covers other bags with a firm face: tennis and squash bags, hard-shell luggage (see our suitcase printing guide), and PU or leather bags (see custom printing on leather). We print finished, firm objects; T-shirts, garments and fabric by the metre are a job for a textile printer.

What you can print on padel gear

  • Names and initials, in English, Arabic or both, in any font you choose.
  • A personal emblem, like the dragon on the NOX bag: an animal, a crest, a number or a nickname.
  • Full artwork across the face of a racket, as on our own.
  • Matching pairs for doubles partners: the same design on two rackets or two bags, each with its own name.
  • Club, academy and team logos on rackets and bags for players and coaches.
  • Company logos and sponsor marks for tournaments, prizes and corporate gifts.

How long does a print last on a racket or a bag?

A UV print bonds to the surface and takes everyday handling well: hands, car boots, court benches and the inside of a bag. Like any surface finish, it wears where it is scraped hard.

  • On a bag: the print sits in the face of the fabric, so it does not peel. Dragging the bag over rough concrete will scuff it, as it would scuff the bag.
  • On a racket: the ball hits the face, but the real wear comes from scrapes against the floor, the sand and the glass, which mark factory graphics too. A frame protector keeps the edge safe; the face will show wear where it is dragged.
  • Cleaning: a soft damp cloth with mild soap. Keep solvents, scouring pads and abrasive creams off the print.

What decides how long a print lasts on any object is set out in how long UV printing lasts.

Padel teams, clubs and corporate tournaments in the UAE

Padel has grown fast here. The UAE has about 1,000 padel courts, and the 2024 Dubai Premier Padel P1 drew 24,000 spectators, according to WAM in May 2025. The 2026 edition runs from 8 to 15 November at Hamdan Sports Complex (Gulf News). Companies play too: the Sanad corporate padel tournament in Abu Dhabi grew from 13 companies in 2022 to 28 in 2025.

  • Doubles pairs and friends: matching rackets or bags, each with its own name.
  • Clubs and academies: coaches' rackets and bags in club colours.
  • Corporate leagues and tournaments: prizes, team kits and gifts with the company logo or each player's name. See corporate gift printing in Dubai and our guide to corporate gifting in the UAE.

There is no minimum order. For a run, one racket or bag is printed first for your approval.

What 'print on anything' really means

'Nothing is unprintable' is the line on our racket, and it comes with three practical tests. An object can be printed when:

  1. It can sit still under the print head, lying flat or held in a jig, with a face we can reach.
  2. Its surface takes ink. Most do once cleaned. Some plastics, such as polypropylene and polyethylene, need flame, plasma or primer treatment first; see why some plastics reject ink and ink adhesion and pre-treatment.
  3. The print can live with how the object is used. A design on a racket face has to accept the holes; a design on a bag has to sit clear of the seams.

A padel racket and a padel bag pass all three. So do most objects people bring us:

Every surface we print, with photos, is on print on any surface, any material.

How padel gear printing works at Sun Studio

  1. Send photos of the racket or bag (the face, one side and any label), the maker and model if you know them, your name or artwork, and the quantity.
  2. We check the surface and lay the design out around the holes, seams, zips and existing logos.
  3. You approve the artwork on a proof. For a run, one piece is printed first.
  4. We clean the surface, test adhesion where the material needs it, and print: white ink where the gear is dark, then colour, all cured by UV light.
  5. You collect from Al Quoz, or we arrange delivery within the UAE. The date comes with the quote, since it depends on the design and the quantity.

What to send for a quote

  • Photos of the racket or bag: the face to be printed and one side
  • The maker and model, if you know them
  • Your name, wording or logo, ideally as a vector file
  • The quantity, and whether it is a pair, a team set or a corporate run
  • Your deadline, such as a tournament or a birthday

Common questions

Can you print my name on my padel racket in Dubai?
Yes. We print names (in English, Arabic or both), initials, logos and full artwork direct onto the face of a padel racket at our studio in Al Quoz, Dubai, around the holes. Send a photo of the racket and the name, and we lay it out for you to approve.
Can you print a logo on a padel bag?
Yes, on a bag with a firm front panel. We printed a client's dragon emblem on a NOX padel bag from the Luxury Master Series, direct onto its woven panel. Send a photo of the bag and the logo.
Will printing change how my racket plays?
A print is a thin layer of ink, and we keep it flat on a racket, with no raised ink. On a gritty face we leave the varnish off unless you ask for it, because it would smooth the grit.
Will the print come off when I play?
It does not peel, because the ink bonds to the surface. Like factory graphics, it wears where the racket scrapes the floor, the sand or the glass. A frame protector keeps the edge safe.
Can you print on a NOX, Adidas, Bullpadel or Head padel bag?
The brand matters less than the panel. A firm front panel that lies still under the print head and takes ink can be printed. We test adhesion on coated fabrics before the design goes on.
Is there a minimum order for printed padel rackets or bags?
No. There is no minimum order for UV printing done in our studio, so one racket, a doubles pair or a team set are all possible. A sample is AED 105 or AED 150 depending on what it is, taken off the invoice if you go ahead.
Does printing affect the racket or bag warranty?
Printing changes the surface, so check the maker's warranty terms before you print new gear. It does not touch the grip, the zips or the straps.
What can Sun Studio not print?
We print finished, firm objects. T-shirts, garments and fabric by the metre are a job for a textile printer, and some plastics need pre-treatment before they take ink.

Send photos of your racket or bag and the name or design, by WhatsApp or phone on +971 4 346 7422, or by email to info@sunstudio.ae. Sun Studio Dubai has been printing in Al Quoz First since 2011, with no minimum order. We will tell you how the design will sit before anything is printed.
