Industrial Bottle and Candle Printing in Dubai: Watch the LSINC PeriQ360 Print Filled Bottles

Sun Studio runs the LSINC PeriQ360, an industrial cylindrical UV printer, in Al Quoz. This is the press on video, printing bottles that are already filled and sealed and candle jars that already hold their wax, plus where the machine comes from and who supports it in the Middle East.

The video below is our LSINC PeriQ360 running at Sun Studio in Al Quoz First, Dubai. It is an industrial cylindrical UV printer: the bottle turns on a spindle, the print heads lay the artwork around it, and LED lamps cure the ink as it goes. Four spindles carry four items at once. What is different about this run is what was on the spindles: glass water bottles that were already filled and sealed, and candle jars that already held their wax.

Most bottle printing is done on empty containers. Filled stock is the harder version of the job, and it is the version many brands actually have: water already bottled, candles already poured, product already on the shelf. This page shows that it can be done, explains what makes it possible, and covers the two ways to get it. Send the job to us, or buy the same press from PRO TECHnology, LSINC’s exclusive dealer for the Middle East and North Africa.

If you want the full technical profile of the machine, its rated speeds and what they really mean, that lives on our page inside the LSINC PeriQ360. This one is about the run in the video and the jobs it opens up.

The video: an industrial cylindrical printer running in Al Quoz

The LSINC PeriQ360 at Sun Studio, Al Quoz: four spindles, one job, LED curing as the containers turn.

What you are looking at: the carriage in the centre holds four spindles. Each spindle grips one container and turns it under the print heads at a fixed speed. The blue glow is the LED curing lamp. The ink sets the moment it passes under it, so a bottle leaves the machine dry and ready to pack. One minute of video, one job, four containers at a time.

This is what industrial bottle printing means in practice. Not a rotary attachment bolted to a flatbed for the occasional bottle, but a press built for the round object as its only job, with a changeover you can plan and a fourth-hour result that matches the first. Our reasons for running a dedicated cylindrical press rather than an attachment are set out on the PeriQ360 page.

Yes. The two glass water bottles in the cover photo were printed full, with their caps on. Nothing was opened, emptied or refilled. They are VOSS bottles, and we printed them as a concept sample to show VOSS what direct printing can do on a filled retail bottle: it is our mock-up, not a VOSS product, and VOSS did not commission it. The bottle on the left carries a hummingbird and iris design over a white base; the one on the right carries a full-wrap geometric pattern in violet and blue. Three things make that possible on this press:

  • LED curing, not heat. The ink hardens under UV LED light in a fraction of a second. There is no oven and no drying stage, so the process adds very little heat to the bottle or to what is inside it.
  • The spindle carries the weight. A filled glass bottle is heavy next to an empty one. The PeriQ360’s spindles grip and turn a loaded container at a steady speed, which is what keeps the wrap seamless from the first bottle to the last.
  • The print band stays off the seal. Artwork is placed on the body of the bottle. The cap, the seal and the neck sit outside the printed area, so the closure is never touched.

The conditions we need from you are simple. Bottles arrive at room temperature and dry: a chilled bottle sweats, and ink will not bond to condensation. The glass must be bare where the print goes, so an existing label or print in that band has to be removed or designed around. Carbonated or pressurised containers get the same handling as filled aerosol cans. Everything else follows our normal route: one bottle is printed and checked first, then the run.

Candle jars printed after the wax is poured

Candle makers usually come to us with finished stock. The wax is poured, the wick is set, the jar is boxed, and the branding question arrives last. The three pieces below were all printed as finished products, contents in place.

A pastel mint candle jar printed with a full-colour garden of flowers after the candle was pouredA grey candle jar printed with the same flower design in one dark colour and a scroll borderA frosted glass diffuser bottle printed with a signature and a geometric band in one colour
Two poured candle jars and a frosted glass diffuser bottle, each printed as a finished piece on the cylindrical press.

Two of them are candle jars: one in a pastel mint finish with a full-colour garden design, one in grey with the same design in a single dark colour and a scroll border. The third is a frosted glass bottle with a signature and a geometric band printed in one colour. The design wraps the full height of the jar, and the wick and the wax surface are untouched, because the ink only ever meets the outside of the glass and cures cold.

This is candle printing without a label: no edge to lift in a warm room, no sleeve seam, and no minimum imposed by a label supplier. Which surface should carry the design, the jar or the wax itself, is a separate decision, and our guide to printing on wax candles or the glass jar walks through it. Ordering, packing and what to send is on the candle and jar printing service page.

What “industrial” means for your bottle or candle order

An industrial bottle printing machine is judged on the hundredth piece, not the first. On the PeriQ360 that comes down to four things you notice in the job rather than on a spec sheet:

  • Four containers print at once, so a run of a few hundred bottles is a matter of hours, not days.
  • The artwork closes in the same place on every bottle, because the spindle speed and the head position are set by the machine, not by an operator’s hand.
  • Moving from one container size to the next is a planned changeover with a fixture, not a set-up from scratch.
  • Colour holds across different diameters. LSINC calls this Diameter Independent Resolution, and it is what lets a small bottle and a wide jar in one gift set read as the same brand.

What those numbers mean once you check them, and which container shapes actually fit, is covered on the PeriQ360 page. Larger pieces, up to 152 mm across and 457 mm long, go on our single-spindle LSINC PeriOne instead. Both presses are listed on our printer fleet page.

Glass bottles: clear, frosted and coloured

Clear glass needs a white base under the colour, or the artwork tints the water instead of sitting on the bottle. The hummingbird bottle in the cover photo was printed that way: white first, colour on top, in one pass. Frosted glass is different. A dark, single-colour design reads directly on the frosted surface, which is how the signature and the band on the diffuser bottle were printed. Amber, green and black glass take the white base the way clear glass does.

How a 360-degree wrap is built, and how to set up the artwork for it, is in our guide to how 360° bottle printing works. Whether the print survives a dishwasher, a bar wash or the perfume inside the bottle is answered container by container on our durability page.

Perfume, cosmetics and aluminium cans on the same press

The same four spindles print aluminium aerosol and body-spray cans, cosmetic jars and round perfume bottles. The cans in the photo are an Ajmal Tropical Mango eau de toilette run, printed directly onto the can, several designs in one production. That job is written up as a case study, and the choice between direct printing, a sleeve and a label for cans has its own guide. Perfume bottles that are flat rather than round go to the flatbed instead: see flat versus cylindrical perfume bottles. Everything for fragrance brands starts at the perfume bottle printing service page, and skincare containers at cosmetic packaging printing.

Who supplies the LSINC PeriQ360 in the Middle East?

LSINC Corporation builds the PeriQ360 in Huntsville, Alabama. In this region the machine is sold and supported by PRO TECHnology, our sister company in Dubai. LSINC appointed PRO TECHnology as its exclusive dealer for the Middle East and North Africa in December 2023, and LSINC’s own distributor list shows PRO TECHnology covering fourteen countries, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, Jordan and Egypt.

Local means local. PRO TECHnology installs the press, trains the operators, and keeps service engineers, spare parts and LSINC inks and consumables in Dubai, so support does not wait on a shipment from the United States. The range covers the PeriOne for single-spindle work, the PeriQ360 you see in the video, and the Perivallo360m for tapered and contoured pieces. Demonstrations, site requirements and pricing: LSINC cylindrical UV printers from PRO TECHnology, and their guide to choosing between the PeriOne, PeriQ360 and Perivallo360m.

Two doors, then. If you have bottles, jars or cans to print, that is Sun Studio: send the job and it runs on this press in Al Quoz. If you want the press itself, that is PRO TECHnology. We are the printing customer of the equipment, not the dealer, and we say so on every page where the machine is named.

How to send a filled-product job

Send us five things and we can tell you the same day whether it runs:

  • A photo of the container and its dimensions: diameter, height, and where the print should sit.
  • Whether it arrives filled, sealed or pressurised, and how it is packed, so it goes back the same way.
  • The quantity, and whether you want one sample first. You should.
  • The artwork as a vector or a high-resolution file. Our artwork guide says what to send.
  • The finish: white base or not, one colour or full colour, any raised effect.

There is no minimum. We print one suitable bottle or jar, a sample, or a full production run, and the price per piece falls as the quantity rises. The service itself, with the print-band rules for round containers, is on the cylindrical and 360° printing page.

Common questions

Can you print on glass water bottles that are already filled?
Yes. The bottles in the cover photo were printed full and sealed on the LSINC PeriQ360. The ink cures under LED light with very little heat, the spindle carries the weight of the full bottle, and the print stays on the body, away from the cap and the seal. Bottles must arrive at room temperature and dry.
Can candle jars be printed after the wax is poured?
Yes. Poured candles are printed as finished pieces, wax and wick in place. Only the outside of the jar meets the ink, and the LED cure runs cold, so the wax is not softened. Tell us how the candles are packed so they travel back the same way.
Does UV printing heat the water or the wax inside?
Very little. There is no oven and no drying stage: the ink hardens in a fraction of a second under an LED lamp. That is why filled bottles, poured candles and sealed aerosol cans can be printed direct. We still print and check one piece before a run.
What is an industrial bottle printing machine?
A press built for round objects as its only job. The LSINC PeriQ360 turns four containers at once under fixed print heads and cures with LED UV, so the wrap closes in the same place on every piece and a run is measured in hours. A rotary attachment on a flatbed prints one bottle at a time and is a sample tool, not a production line.
Where can I buy the LSINC PeriQ360 in the UAE or Saudi Arabia?
From PRO TECHnology in Dubai, LSINC’s exclusive dealer for the Middle East and North Africa since December 2023. It handles demonstrations, installation, training, service, spare parts and LSINC inks and consumables across the region. Sun Studio prints on the press; it does not sell it.
Is there a minimum order for bottle or candle jar printing at Sun Studio?
No. We print one suitable bottle or jar, a sample, or a full production run. There are no screens and no plates, so nothing forces a minimum, and the price per piece falls as the quantity rises.
Will the print survive washing, or the perfume inside the bottle?
It depends on the container, the pre-treatment and what the print has to survive, so we test on your own item first. Our durability guide answers it container by container, from dishwashers to eau de parfum.

Filled bottles, poured candles, cans that are already pressurised: the finished product is the hardest thing to print and the most useful, because it is the stock you actually have. Send a photo and the dimensions to info@sunstudio.ae, or call +971 4 346 7422, and we will tell you whether it runs on the PeriQ360 and what the sample will show. If you want the press rather than the print, PRO TECHnology is the call.
