Office Wall Branding & Retail Wall Graphics in Dubai
Reception and meeting-room branding that survives daily cleaning, retail walls repainted between campaigns, and illustrated corridors printed in place, in the room they belong to.

A branded wall in an office or a shop has to do two things at once: carry the brand accurately, and survive being a wall. It gets leaned on, wiped down, knocked by trolleys and chairs, and in retail it gets replaced every campaign. Most of what goes wrong with interior branding is not the design. It is the edge.
Direct wall printing removes the edge. The artwork is printed onto the finished plaster on site, cured as it is laid, and there is no film, no adhesive and no perimeter to lift. Sun Studio prints with a wallPen E2 in Dubai and across the UAE, from its studio in Al Quoz, as part of its wall printing service in Dubai.
Most companies that sell office wall branding in Dubai supply printed vinyl stickers or wallpaper that is applied to the wall. We print the wall itself, and our comparison of wall printing with wallpaper and vinyl sets out where each one fits.
Sun Studio belongs to the same Dubai group as PRO TECHnology, which distributes wallPen equipment in the Middle East, so read our view of the machine with that in mind. The photograph at the top of this page and the reference photographs below show installations by other wallPen operators, not Sun Studio projects.
Reception and meeting-room branding
A reception wall is the highest-scrutiny surface in a building. It is photographed, it is the first thing a visitor reads, and it is the one wall where a lifting corner is unmissable.

Printed directly, the graphic is part of the painted surface. There is no shadow line where a panel meets the wall, no seam down a long run, and colour holds across a corner or an entire corridor because the image is generated once at final size rather than tiled from roll widths. Brand colour is matched on a printed sample against your reference before the wall is committed, not judged on a screen. The machine prints in CMYK with optional white, so some brand spot colours can only be approximated, which is why the sample is approved first.
The practical benefit in a fitted-out building is that the wall does not have to be stripped back. The manufacturer rates the cured ink as water resistant and scratch resistant, and a cured print wipes down like any painted wall, so a cleaning contractor treats it as one. It is a coating on the wall and not a fused finish, so keep abrasive pads and strong solvents off it.
Where a meeting room also needs sound absorption, printed acoustic panels are a separate route, covered by our acoustic panel printing service.
Retail walls that change with the campaign
Retail has the opposite requirement to an office: the wall is meant to change. Seasonal campaigns, product launches and refits all want the same wall to carry something different in three months. Shelving, plinths and counters are a separate job, covered by our retail display printing.

That is where painting out and reprinting beats peeling and making good. Two or three coats of the unit’s own paint returns the wall to plain, and the next campaign prints onto it. There is no film to heat and strip, no adhesive residue, and no patch of fresh filler that the new graphic has to hide.
Rollouts get the second benefit. Because the image comes from one file rather than from a hand or a roll, every branch receives the same artwork at the same size, and the only variable is the wall each one supplies.
Illustrated walls, corridors and breakout space

Away from the reception desk, the brief is usually culture rather than logo: an illustrated wall in a breakout area, a values wall, a workshop or lab corridor, a stairwell. These suit direct printing particularly well because they run long, they wrap around doors and reveals, and a sheet product would need a join every roll width.
Line illustration and flat colour are also the easiest artwork for a wall to carry, so a lightly textured plaster that would soften a photograph handles a doodle mural without any visible compromise.
Where it works, and where it does not
The method suits most fitted-out commercial interiors and rules itself out in a few predictable places.
- Corporate offices: reception, meeting rooms, corridors, stairwells, breakout and branded interiors.
- Retail: shopfront and in-store murals, product walls, campaign and promotional walls.
- Hospitality: feature walls, menu walls and interior graphics in cafes and restaurants.
- Activations and events: walls in an occupied venue, printed in place rather than trucked in and built.
- Not suitable: demountable partitions that must stay unmarked, leased walls where alteration is not allowed, curved fittings, glass (see printed glass partitions for offices), or any wall with active damp or chalking paint until it is put right.
There is no minimum order. A project can be one reception wall or a rollout across several branches, which is what makes testing a design in one branch before committing to ten practical.
Schools, nurseries, clinics and gyms have a different requirement again, built around cleaning regimes and contact at child height. That is covered in wall printing for schools, clinics and gyms.
Two projects on the record
The general manager’s room at the Business Bay office of PRO TECHnology, our parent group, has a corner in it, and a single image was printed across both faces of that corner, straight onto the wall, in an occupied office. It is our own group’s office and not an outside client. That is one job on one wall and not a promise about yours, but it is the clearest demonstration of what printing in place makes possible: no room stripped out, no drying wait, the space back in use the same day. It is written up as the Business Bay office corner.
At Body Abs Gym in Abu Dhabi, seven walls were printed on site across a fit-out, one branch of ten, with athlete artwork placed around doors, mirrors and service runs rather than on clear bays. Both are commercial interiors, and both were printed into buildings that were being used or finished around the work.
What to send for a quote
A wall is quoted from photographs and dimensions, not from a floor plan.
- Photographs of the wall, straight on and from an angle, showing what is fixed to it.
- Width and height measured on site, and a note on the substrate and the paint system already on it.
- Artwork at final size where possible, vector for logos and type, and your brand colour references.
- How many walls and how many locations, if it is a rollout.
- Access: building hours, permits, and whether the space will be occupied.
Send it to info@sunstudio.ae or call +971 4 346 7422. Pricing is per square metre and is set out on the wall printing price guide. The full method is in how direct-to-wall printing works.
